Management of Confined Spaces in Quarries Introduction: The aims of this course are to bring to your attention the importance of understanding what are considered to be confined spaces in your particular working environment and the requirement for ensuring suitable and sufficient safety control systems to enable safe management of these potentially hazardous areas within the quarry and all associated plant and equipment Objectives: By the end of the course, members will be able to: Understand how to identify and manage confined space entry. Know the consequences of failing to manage health and safety in confined spaces effectively. Know the importance of active monitoring for continual improvement during confined space entry.
