Commerce refers to all the activities the purchase and sales of goods or services.

E-commerce defined as doing the commerce through the internet or the computer networks

communication technologies(ICT) in support all of the activities of business

Any business that is going to become a “on demand” business

Any business that is going to “practice” Electronic data interchange (EDI)

Different between the two types e-business refers to more strategic

focus with an emphasis on the functions that occur using electronic capabilities and involves supply chain management

E-commerce is a subset of an overall e-business strategy and involves knowledge management system
