“Click Clack Moo” is the theme of this week’s Tiny Tots story program at the Hoopeston Public Li-brary children’s room. Tiny Tots meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 10:30 a.m. Fridays and is for children ages 1-4 who are accompanied by an adult.

Diabetes is a serious disease on the rise in our country. Knowing how to deal with it through the correct dietary measures is very important. Approximately 230 individuals from 12 high schools will compete for the honor of having their art displayed in the Capitol Building for one year. The winner will also receive a $3,000 Artistic Honors Scholarship to attend Savannah College of Art and Design. The second-place entry will be dis-played in Johnson’s Champaign district office for one year. This is the first year for the contest, which

Floyd G. Edmonds, 47, of 715 E. Thompson, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of East Thompson. He was charged with domestic battery and interfering with a reporting of domestic battery on a complaint from a 20-year-old Hoopeston man. Edmonds was taken to the Public Safety Building in Danville.
