Plot two people that bet on whether or not the lighter always light up. One of the men puts up his Cadillac, and the other one bets his little finger.
1.The narrator, the I-person sits alongside the pool.
2.In the pool ,there is some marine boys, most likely from America, and a few girls.
3.One of the guys with a girl and a little man called Carlos take the seat besides the narrator.
Plot
4. Then the boy offers cigarettes to them. 5. They start to talk about the boy’s lighter. 6. Carlos orders a bet.
Plot7. They go to the little man’s room8. After the boy have lighted up the
lighter 8 times, a woman comes in and stops the bet.
9. She tells them the truth about the little man.
