PennsylvaniaMan Arrested For Firing Shots and Threatening Tower Workers
Police arrested a Hanover Township man on Thursday after he allegedly fired gunshots intothe air near a tower threatening three workers according to the Observer-ReporterDwayne Bruce 53 faces charges of aggravated assault prohibited possession of a firearmreckless endangerment simple assault resisting arrest trespassing harassment anddisorderly conduct
The workers at the Crown Castle tower told police Bruce had approached them and wasacting aggressively saying they had 10 minutes to leave the property The workers notedthat they heard a gunshot and could see Bruce at his home waving the gun in the air theycounted six shots fired in total
According to police Bruce is a convicted felon and not permitted to own a firearm During the arrest police couldsmell alcohol on Brucersquos breath and he allegedly stated that ldquohe probably had more than enough alcohol but notenoughrdquo
Bruce was placed in the Washington County jail on $300000 bond A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January23 the Observer-Reporter said

MaineTower Likened To An ldquoAesthetic Nightmarerdquo
The Rockland City Council gave unanimous initial approval to a municipal law restricting the height and placement ofcell towers reported Village Soup Councilor Valli Geiger who sponsored the ordinance noted We want to be surenot to create an aesthetic nightmare in Rocklandrdquo
The proposed ordinance would limit cell towers to 100 feet tall and prohibit placement in residential zones and within1000 feet of residential or transitional business zones However Geiger acknowledged that the Council could notprevent towers from being built throughout the city
The proposal will be reviewed by the citys attorney as well as the comprehensive planning commission The Councilwill consider it again for possible final approval on February 10 reported the Village Soup

The proposal will be reviewed by the citys attorney as well as the comprehensive planning commission The Councilwill consider it again for possible final approval on February 10 reported the Village Soup
