Heterozygous samples show 2 different molecular weights for those primers at about 5‘882 and 5‘898 Dalton (all indicated by arrow).

Other specific peaks are results of other bloodgroup SNPs, detected in multiplex in the same PCR.

Results KEL, SLC14A1, DARC (Kell, Kidd, Duffy), n = 4‘000

There was 1 sample of KEL*02 I KEL*02.03

heterozygous genotype with negativity for

Kpa: KEL*02.03(R700Q)Null.

With respect to SLC14A1 (Kidd), two serological pre-values

were wrong, the third was a JK*Bnull allele in a genetically

JK*A I JK*B heterozygous individual as demonstrated by the

negative serology for Jkb.

With respect to DARC (Duffy), as expected, 28 of a

total of 52 (54%) FY*A I FY*X heterozygous individuals

were misinter-preted as Fya homozygous, serologically.

A new unspecified FY*Bnull allele was discovered:

FY*B(G261R)Null.

genetisch?
