Malcolm ShabazzMalcolm Lateef Shabazz, son of Qubilah Shabazz and grandson of El-Hajj MalikEl-Shabazz, has joined the ancestors following his shocking death by murderyesterday in Mexico. Malcolm had a troubled youth, spending four years injuvenile detention and labelled a paranoid schizophrenic for setting a firethat tragically took the life of his grandmother, Dr. Betty Shabazz, at the ageof 12. Upon adulthood and release Malcolm was remorseful, saying that he had done

it without thinking of the consequences and was trying to have himself sent backto his mother. Following this he increasingly dedicated himself to waging thesame struggles as his grandfather and namesake.

Like the recent death of John Dacajeweiah Hill, aka Splitting the Sky, thedeath of Malcolm Shabazz has seemingly come out of the blue. Like Dacajeweiah,like his grandfather, and even like his great-grandfather, Malcolm was anincreasingly outspoken opponent of the parasitic imperialist world system and itis certain that his tragic end will raise eyebrows on many. In 2010 he undertookhis Hajj pilgrige to Mecca, and also made trips to Iran. This particular editorhere on Onkwehn:we Rising would like to echo the sentiments of an Afrikan comradfrom Toronto on brother Malcolms passing:

Earl Little. September, 1931: MURDERED. His killers walked free.

Malcolm X. February, 1965: MURDERED. His killers walked free.

Malcolm Shabazz. May, 2013: MURDERED.

Great-grandfather. Grandfather. And now, the Grandson. Each man valiantly pushingback against the menacing apparatus of white supremacy. Each man relentlesslyhounded by the well-armed watchdogs of oppressive state power. Each man thevictim of targeted assassination .

And, many decades after the fact, the deaths of Earl Little and his Sun STILLremain shrouded in mystery and unanswered questions.

The pattern is chilling.

One fact is emerging: white supremacy desperately wants to erase any evidence of

the existence of Baba Malcolm (and the indomitable Spirit of Revolution that Heembodied) from the face of the Earth. They are literally aiming to Kill asignificant part our Revolutionary Memory by wiping out his lineage.

There is a very clear message here: Forget and you Livebut dare to REMEMBER andwe will come for you.

Be Brave, Family. Make it a point to tell your Children who these Mighty Menwere. Let them know that their commitment to Justice for all Afrikan people is atruly glorious example that is worthy of emulation. And let them know that,should the enemy come and they WILL come they must be prepared and ready tofight backBY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

One Love to You, Brother Malcolm. You are One with the Ancestors now.
