Malaysian Congress on Menopause (9MCOM)
WELCOME MESSAGE
It is with humble pleasure that I invite you to participate in the Malaysian
Menopause Society's 9th
Malaysian Congress on Menopause
(9MCOM). Each of our Congresses had been very successful.
The extensive topics in this 9MCOM had been thoughtfully selected to give
you a wide coverage of the issues, but this still constitutes a fraction of the extremely wide spectrum of conditions and considerations in dealing with the menopause. The plenary sessions and lectures and symposiums will
definitely advance your understanding of menopause medicine . We have an outstanding and exceptional Faculty which amongst others
include the President of The International Menopause Society (IMS) Dr. Tobias Johannes de Villiers (from South Africa), the President-Elect of IMS
Professor Rodney Baber (from Australia), the President of The Asia-Pacific Menopause Federation (APMF) Emeritus Professor Takeshi Aso (from Japan). Also in our Faculty is a Past President of MMS Dr. Ong Hean Choon
and the President Dr. Liew Fah Onn, and Past President of the Malaysian Osteoporosis Society Dr. Lee Joon Kiong. Our senior and learned Faculty
members, both from teaching institutions and the private sector, will impart their expertise and experience during their presentations.
It is my wish that you learn from their presentations and participate actively in the consequent question-and-answer sessions, so that all of you can benefit.
Please do not miss this rare and unusual opportunity (to meet the Presidents), which may be difficult to be repeated in future.
We are expecting eager and quick response from healthcare personnel who
wish to manage menopausal patients in a responsible and evidence-based manner. Do register early to avoid any disappointment as places are limited.
