sealed competitive tenders in prescribed form for Supply, installation and commissioning of

fire Safety Equipments system at Kasaragod Dairy from competent frre Safety Equipments

suppliers and erectors. lnterested parties may quote their rates and total amount for each item

in the schedule (AnnexureJl) attached and submit the same after putting the signature, name

and address ofthe bidder in the tender form (Annexure-l) in all pages. The cover containing

the Tender should be super-scribed as "Quotation for Supply, installation and commissioning

of firc Safety Equipments system". The completed tender shall be submitted along with the

Terms and conditiotrs

1.0 Scope ofwork:Supply, installation and commissioning of fire Safety Equipments system at KasaragodDairy, Anandashramam P.O Kanhangad, Kasaragod and obtaining No ObjectionCertificate/Clearance from the Office ofFire and Rescue dept.

2.0 Period ofcomqletion &Guarantee period2.1 The work should be completed within 60 days from the receipt ofwork order. lf not

completed until 60 days a penalty of 0.5% ofthe total value per week shall be levied fromthe contractor subject to maximum of 5o%.2.2. The contractor shall guarantee the satisfactory performance of the equipmentssupplied/erected by them for a minimum period of 12 monlhs from the date ofcommissioning. Any defect due to use of substandard materials or workmanship shallhave to be rectified/replaced by the contractor at his own cost

3.0 Terms ofDayment.3.1. 90% Payment shall be released on submission of invoice/ bill after successfulcommissioning and getting No Objection Certificate/Clearance from the Office of Fireand Rescue dept3.2. Balance I0% will be released after completing the guarantee period

4.0 General Terms and Conditions:-4.1 The rate quoted shall be inclusive ofall applicable tares and duties, material costTransportation of materials to site, loading and unloading charges and nothing extra willbe paid in any account4,2 Schedule ofQuantities to be supplied/erected is enclosed.(Annexure- I )4,3 The tenderer shall submit the EMD along with the tendef in the form of Demand Draft,drawn in favour ofthe MRCMPU Ltd, payable at Kanhangad or cash receipt obtained fromN.,lRC\4PU Lld. Kasaragod Dair) b) remirring cash.4.4 The contractor shall prepare all the necessary drawings for approval and obtainingNOC/clearence from Fire and Rescue Department.4.5 The work should be completed within 60 days on receipt ofthe orders.4.6 All labour, tools and tackles required for the work has to be ar.anged by contractor.The work should be carried out under the strict supewision ofthe contractor and all safetyprecautions should be made before starting the work. The contractor shall be responsible toany damage to men and material during the execution ofthe work. Nothing extra shall bepaid on any account.4.7 The contractor must supply and install the items ofapproved make only.4.8 The quantities indicated in the schedule are app.oximate and may vary plus or minus.Payment will be made only for the actual quantity supplied/erected at site based on the ioinlmeasurement sheet,

4.9 The successful bidder shall remit a security amount of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees FifleenThousand only) to Kasaragod Dairy within Two days after the receipt of work order. Nointerest shall be paid by the Kasaragod Dairy for the amount deposited as security deposit.The security deposit will be refunded only at the end ofthe successful completion ofthework. The security deposit will be forfeited in favour of MRCMPU Ltd., Kasaragod Dairy incase of any violation of the terms and conditions or abandoning of the contract by thecontractor without due notice. Contactor shall quote the rate for supply and erectionseparately4,10 The rates remains unchanged throughout the period of entire work 9070 Payment shallbe released on submission of invoice/ bill duly certified by our Engineer after successfulcommissioning and getting No Objection Certificate/Clearance from the Office of Fire andRescue dept,and the remaining l0% will be released only after successful completion oftheguarantee period.4.ll Necessary statutory deductions will be made towards, income tax, ESI and GST..etc, asper the prevailing rules of the Govemment. Final settlement of the bill will be effected onlyon satisfactory completion ofthe work in all respect. The contractors should ensure that theirworkers are under coverage of ESI registration. If the employee a.e not covered under thepreview of ESI coverage (Total no of employee less than ten, the contractor shall obtainingworkmen compensation policy fiom a nationalized insurance company at his own expensesand copy of policy under workmen compensation policy act shall be submitted to Dairy). Alist ofworkers engaged for the work shall be submitted belore commencement of work.4.12 The contractor shall meet the liabilities of its employees under the E.S.l Act, ProvidentFund Act, and Workmen's Compensation Act. The Dairy shall have no liability whatsoeverarising under any of these statutes and there shall be no employer-employee relationshipbetween MRCMPU Ltd, Kasaragod Dairy and the peisonnel engaged by the contractor in thepremises of work site. The MRCMPU Ltd. Kasaragod Dairy shall have no responsibilitywhat so ever to meet any such charge or make any related arrangements pertaining tomaintenance ofany statutory register or fumishing retums etc4.13 GST & Contribution towards ESI will be deducted lrom the Labour portion ofthe bill.Hence the successful bidder shall submit separate bills for Labour and bill for the supply ofitems.4.14 Water & electricity for the work shall be aranged by the contractor and the contractorshall confirm to all laws goveming employment and safety of labour, minimum wages etc.and shall be liable for any claim or obligations thereof.4.15 Dairy Manager, Kasaragod dairy reserves the right to accept or cancdl the tenderpartially or fully iffound not satisfactor).4.16 Payment will be made by A/c payee cheque within 20 days after satisfactory completionofthe work and after recommendation by our Engin€er.4.17 The bidder shall guarantee to repair/ replace without any extra cost for the work carriedout /item supplied in part or full if found defective due to sub standard material or poorworkmanship within 12 months from the date of completion of the work.
