CURRENT BUYING EXPERIENCE

• Casually, browsing through the feed, I found a pair of beautiful socks.

• I can see thumbnails for the variants of the socks within the feed snippet.

• And, there’s a helpful link t ‘View Full Story’ - which on tapping, would display the entire story, along with buying options.

• Tapping a variant opens up the story page, focuses on the variant and displays a BUY CTA.

• So far so good, this works, and is a good buying experience.

But…Something else is cooking in the Comment’s

Section :

• For a lot of stories that I sampled from the feed, the comments section looked something like this.

• People were commenting asking for the price, links to the online store from where to buy.

• And, some users, were also pushing their own offline stores.

• Conclusion: A lot of users aren’t tapping on the ‘View Full Story’ Link or the Variant thumbnails to go into the next step of the buying funnel.

How Can This Be Fixed?

• One option that comes to mind, is having a ‘BUY’ CTA Upfront on the story snippet within the feed, itself.

• With a helpful Subtext, showing the range from which the product pricing starts.

• Another option, was to have the price shown on the main story image itself, rather than having it in a subtext – this would need A/B testing though, to see how it plays visually/usability wise.

How do I Discover My Friends on Roposo?

• I signed up using Facebook, and within a second, my newsfeed was populated with stories from influencers, whom I could follow from within the feed itself. I found this quite useful, for keeping up with the latest trends from the trend-makers themselves.

• But, how do I find my gal pals, who’re already on Roposo?

• For someone who signed up via Facebook, this is just a matter of fetching their friend-list, and having them auto-follow each other.

• For someone who signed up via email, their should be a ‘Find Your Friends’ next to the ‘Invite Your Friends’ Tab in the hamburger menu or the ‘Invite Your Friends’ flow should handle this case too.

Content Acquisition : Chrome Extension + CTA On Image Hover When It’s Enabled

Miscellaneous Feedback

• The hamburger menu, that brings up the settings bar, only shows up in the feed screen – missing from the shop, you etc. screens.

• If I sign up via FB, and log out from Roposo, then sign into FB with another account and then sign into Roposo, I am signed in to the earlier FB account.

• To position, Roposo as a platform, we should think about opening up API’s to developers, for building apps around Roposo.
