Suggestion 3
If you load office software, set defaults – double-sided printing – margins of 0.7 inches all the way around

Things Clients Can Do• Install MS Server 2008 with Hyper-V to
create virtualized servers or virtual desktop servers. NPOs & libraries can get the data center version from TechSoup.org for $120?

Questions for You• Energy star stickers: If they were previously
removed, can you put on new ones? If you can, do you? – It is entirely legal for you to search on http://
www.energystar.gov and say in signage or that these models are energy star compliant.
• Printers, copiers and multi-function devices: – Can you set the default to double-sided printing?– Can you pre-set the sleep settings? – Do you replace the toner cartridges with refilled
ones or new ones? – What else can you do?
What Else?• Are there other steps you can take to
make your refurbished computers greener?
