• Ground level ozone is formed by a chemical reaction that needs heat from sunlight, nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds.
• Drive less. When possible, walk, ride a bike, carpool, vanpool or use public transportation.
• Avoid waiting in long drive-thru lines at coffee shops, fast-food restaurants or banks. Park your car and go inside.
• Refuel your vehicle after dark (or during cooler evening hours).

Federal Mask Mandate Ongoing • Valley Metro is committed to the
safety of our riders and employees. We follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and government agencies regarding COVID-19.
• Valley Metro and public transit agencies are required to comply with the federal mask mandate that requires all public transit riders to wear a face covering while at stops, stations and on-board.
