Making the contents page

The contents page is split into three columns where the feature and regular articles will be placed. The title of the magazine is placed at the top of the page but in a much smaller font than the front cover.

The feature article column has been totally filled in. The name of the bands has been changed to blue in order to stand out from the main black text.

The main feature articles have been highlighted by a bigger font while a space for a picture for these articles has been made. The regular articles have now also been added.

A yellow box has been placed round the two main feature articles while the two separate types of article- regular and feature have both been highlighted by a blue box.

Due to a change on the front cover title colour, the title of the contents page title has also been changed. This has also resulted in the colour of the box highlighting the main feature articles.

The two main feature articles have now had a picture which relates to them placed over them in order to attract the reader.

The white background has been changed to black in order to make the colours stand out more and the page look less blank.

The main image on the contents page has been changed as it is now used on the double page spread. The image of the front cover artist has also been changed to his instrument to show it is a more in depth look at his style of music. The black background has been changed back to white as it fits the codes and conventions of a real magazine contents page as they try to limit amount of colouring due to costs.
