Making a Resume That Attracts The Employer

How to build a resume that gets noticed by the right employer

Making a resume that attracts the employer to your resume and not the other persons comes down to

having a simple, easy to follow template that the employer or person conducting the hiring process for

the company can read. Your resume should contain three important aspects about yourself. By taking

the approach of making a resume in a simple format I have had students tell me that they are getting a

lot more interviews because of it. Even being able to turn down a job to find one that is more suited for

your liking. So let’s get started on how to make a resume.

The first thing that you want to have in an introduction of who you are and how you can be and asset for

the position or company that you are submitting your resume for. Share briefly a little of your past

experience and again what you can bring to the company. Also be sure to be yourself when you are

writing. This will help the person who is conducting the hiring process and looking at your resume to

know more if this position is right for you.

Usually the second thing you would have is a little history of yourself including things such as your

education, any special programs or seminars that you have taken and of course any past employment

history that you might have. With this part you are going to want to include what your position for

company was, how long you worked there including the name and phone number of your supervisor.

The third and last item that you should include when making a resume is to include three to five

references with the name and phone number of each person. A lot of times the employer will not even

call the references on your resume but they are good to have. Sometime they might call one or two just

to get a more of a feeling of who you are.

Those are the three main things that I include when making a resume that insures that my resume gets

picked up and read and not just put to the back of the pile. You are trying to catch your employer or

whoever who is conducting the hiring to continue to look at your resume and by first sharing how you

can contribute and be an asset is a sure way to grab the attention of the reader.

Making a resume from scratch can be time consuming and take a lot of testing to get it just how you like

it but with pre built resume templates and easy to follow directions to include everything you need and

set up a resume that gets seen I recommend BuildAttractiveResumes.info for the easiest and fastest

way.
