MAKEUP CRITERIA & INSTRUCTIONS All dancers are required to be uniform in terms of hair and makeup. Stage makeup is much more dramatic than everyday makeup and is designed in a way to highlight a dancer’s features and enhance the performance quality. Certain products are specifically from MAC Makeup and Shoppers Drugmart. Any product that is not specified can be purchased from wherever you choose. Below is a list of requirements for the dancers for every routine: MAKEUP: ►Foundation (powder) ►Bronzer ►Blush (rose) ►Black eyeliner (liquid or pencil) ►Mascara (black) ►False Eyelashes (Quo #806) purchased from Shoppers Drugmart or something similar ►Eye shadow (MAC MAKEUP) 3 Colors “SHROOM” (pinkie brown) – to be put all over the eyelid

“WHITE FROST” – to be put on the bottom part of the eyelid & inner corner of eye

“BRUN” (dark brown) – to be put in the crease of the eyelid ►Lipstick and Lip liner (MAC MAKEUP) “DIVA” – Lipstick “VINO” – Lip liner ** note we may ask you to purchase a different shade(s) in addition to the above as specific dances may require a different colour ►Earrings: Round/Sparkly from Bittersweet or ISIS Kiosk in Yorkdale. Please see attached image. (N.B. if a dancer does not have her ears pierced or absolutely cannot wear earrings, she can wear magnetic earrings or stickers. Please email dance@danzartstoronto.com for more information on this matter.) Please refer to the below images as guidelines for applying stage makeup. These images do not have the exact colours that we are looking for but the overall look is what we want:

False Eyelashes:

N.B. False eyelashes come with glue. This glue should be applied in a thin line on the false eyelash and placed right above the real lashes on the lash line. Please wait at least a minute before opening the eyes after applying false eyelashes.
