Our guest speaker/entertainer this year is World Champion RopeJumper, and 2-Time Guinness World Records Holder (jump rope andunicycle records**), Peter Nestler. A unique amalgamation ofperformance art, this show fuses together various live elements tocreate one of the most engaging and sought-after programs in theworld. Combining his mastery of rope skipping (which hasaffectionately brought him the nickname of Rope Master), the athleticprowess of unicycling, the art of poi spinning, glow-in-the-dark ropes,audience participation and motivational speaking, this is the must-seeshow for youth, children and families. Peter is a licensed Pastor through Church on the Move inTulsa, OK and his unique approach to ministry is fun, engaging and Christ-Centered.

Benevolence – A Bulverde Baptist Ministry Team
Did you know that the Benevolence Ministry atBulverde Baptist maintains a supply of HEB gift cards inthe church office, and that these are given outfrequently to people from the community andpassers-by who need a little help getting to the nextpaycheck and have heard they might be able to findthat help at Bulverde Baptist? Did you know that moreextensive help is available to those in need both withinour church family and our community?
The Benevolence Ministry Team (BMT) is a formalcommittee of Bulverde Baptist with a yearly budget. Partof our budget supports Provisions, the Bulverde areafood pantry (see article in this newsletter), and two teammembers represent the church on the Provisions board.We also receive funding from directed donationsthrough Sunday offerings. The stated purpose of theBMT is to provide financial, emotional, and physicalsupport to those in need, first to those in the BulverdeBaptist community, and then reaching out to the largercommunities that we live in, such as the city ofBulverde, and Bexar and Comal counties. We actunder the principle that if God sends a need our way,and has provided us the means to meet that need, thenwe will do all we can, with God’s guidance.
Last year, among other things, BMT paid for carrepairs for a young single mom, helped with medicalbills for a sick church member, provided rentalassistance, helped one family in need obtain a brandnew refrigerator and another a used washing machineand dryer, and many times gave gas or grocery moneyto get someone to the next payday. BMT also helpedmove an elderly church member and provided financialand general life counseling as situations warranted.
Most of the BMT members would be, and are doingthese kinds of helping actions regardless, but the BMTprovides a framework for greater effectiveness. If youhave a gift for this kind of ministry and feel God leadingyou in this direction, you are welcome to join us. If youhave a need or know of a need that BMT might be ableto help with, please let us know. Our desire is to serveGod by serving our community.

His Kids Jr Clubhouse: Wednesdayevenings our little ones are enjoying ourcraft time, Bible story and play time. Thereis still time and room for more to join in onthe Fun. The Nursery Clubhouse dooropens at 6:20pm. Children need to bepicked up by 8:10pm. Please be sure tofeed your child before dropping off. Thisavoids confusion to other little ones who are there not eating and also helpsus avoid any food allergy concerns. Thank You for your understanding.
His Kids Jr, Sunday Mornings: Thank You to those who arevolunteering in the Nursery on Sunday mornings. We continue to invitethose who enjoy playing with the littlest ones to volunteer during one of theservices.
His Kids Jr Super Wednesday Summer Ministry: Plans will startsoon for the Super Wednesday Summer Playtime. Watch for additionalinformation to be placed on the Nursery check-in counter soon. Theprogram is for children ages One-Kindergarten. Also, we are looking for
teacher’s for the classes. If you are interestedplease see Debra Stovall.
TNT Mother’s Day Out program will start2015-2016 session registration soon. If you areinterested in enrolling your child please contactDebra Stovall. An enrollment interest list isbeing prepared to determine the classroomneeds. We need your child’s name, child’sbirthday, parent name and contact
number. Class placement is based on the child’s age as of September1st. Enrollment will open to currently enrolled families and BBC member’smid-March. Registration will open to the Community by the end of March.

Bulverde Baptist Mission Dollars at Work
One of the projects that BulverdeBaptist Church Is helping sponsor is inthe village of El Porvenir, Ecuador,population 80.
The village is located approximately40 miles from the city of Esmeraldas.First Baptist Church of Esmeraldas(FBE) built a small church building inthe village and leads weekly Biblestudies and services. The building hasonly a dirt floor and no indoor bath-room. The only source of water for thevillage has been a small polluted riverfrom which the villagers draw water forall their needs. As a consequence ofusing the polluted water, the peoplewere often ill.
Partnering with First BaptistEsmeraldas, BBC provided the funds tocover the expenses to bring fresh spring water from a nearby mountain down to the village. Under the supervision ofseveral men from First Baptist, people from the village installed the piping and constructed a concrete water storagetank in the village. Villagers are now able to fill their water containers from three spigots on the storage tank. Be-cause the villagers supplied the labor for the water project, there were enough funds remaining for a concrete floor anda bathroom for the church building. Work is now in progress on those two projects.
