• Hercules was the greatest of The mythological Greek heroes

• He was famous for his incredible strength,courage, and intelligence

• Hercules is actually his roman name the Greek called him Heracles

• Hercules once had to deal with the twelve labors in the next few slides I will show you them.

• Initially Hercules was supposed to complete 10 labors,not 12

• King Eurystheus Decided Hercules first task would Be to bring him the skin of an invulnerable lion which terrorized the hills around Nemea

• Setting out on what seemed like an impossible labor,Hercules came to a town called Cleonae,where he stayed poor workman for hire Molorchus when his host offered to sacrifice an animal to pray for a safe lion hunt, Hercules said to wait 30 days and if he returned they would sacrifice to Zeus and if he died fighting to sacrifice to him as a hero

• When Hercules got to Nemea and began tracking the terrible lion he soon discovered that his arrows were useless against the beast he picked up his club and went after the lion grasping it with his hands choked it to death
