GENERATIONS OF FAITH CAMPAIGN Remember to keep active your promise to the “Generations of Faith Campaign” and to help make the necessary repairs in our Parish.

Please use the envelopes sent by the Cam-paign Office or bring your own envelopes properly identified. All payments that we receive are sent to the Diocese every week. Although we have surpassed the goal of $950,000 and promises of almost $1,400,000 was obtained, that amount has NOT yet been received. Only if we keep our promise, can we make a real-ity the goals proposed to help our Bishop and our Parish.

SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT Advent is the period of time where we prepare ourselves to receive our Savior, Jesus Christ, on Christmas Day. Starts on Sunday Novem-ber 27th and ends on Friday, December 23rd, 2016.

CHRISTMAS NOVENA Starting Friday, December 16th through Saturday, December 24th, 2016 our par ish will celebrate the Novena to the Baby Child Jesus at 7:00pm in Church. Everybody is invited to join us.

FAITH FORMATION—BIBLE CLASSES- (ARISE PROGRAM)

Bible Classes in English COMING SOON. Please stay tuned for dates early 2017. It will be an enriching experi-ence for all of us. Bible Classes in Spanish. It will be for one hour each ses-sion. Schedule is as follows: Tuesdays: December 6th, & 13th, 2016 at 7:00pm in the Convent . Wednesdays: December 7th & 14th, 2016 at 10:00am in the Convent. MANGER FOR OUR CHURCH Blessed Sacrament is asking you to help us, monetarily, to cover the expenses of the Nativity Set that decorates, again, the outside of our Church during this Christmas Season. RELIGIOUS RETIREMENT FUND Next weekend, December 10-11, 2016, the Second Collec-tion is for the Diocesan Collection of The Religious Retire-ment Fund. This worthy cause supports religious sisters and brothers who have served our Church in Brooklyn and Queens in so many different ways. Your gifts will help with living expenses and the cost of health care for elderly reli-gious who have no pension and only minimal Social Security benefits. Thank you for your generosity.

ADVENT REFLEXION Lets prepare our hearts to the coming of the Child Jesus, The Incarnate Verb. Semanalmente enviamos todos los ofrecimientos o pagos para la Campaña. Aunque hayamos superado la Meta de $950,000 y se obtuvo promesas de casi $1,400,000 ese monto todavía NO se ha hecho efectivo. PRAY FOR SYRIA Almighty and ever-living God, you sent your Spirit upon the Apostles to help them found your Church in the midst of persecution. We ask that you keep your Spirit, in a spe-cial way, with the Patriarchs of Syria who today fight to maintain your Church. We pray for the comfort of the loved ones of those who have been thrust upon the martyr’s throne, that they may no longer despair, but rejoice in the saving power of the Cross. Just as you softened the heart of the Persian king to free your people, soften the hearts of those today who seek the destruction of the faithful. We ask also that you send your Spirit upon us so that we may be faithful instruments of your peace. We ask this all through Christ our Lord. Amen. SPC (Solidarity with the Persecuted Church)
