Conferences:WeareexcitedtoVIRTUALLYmeetwithyouatourupcomingparent/teacherconferences.Virtualconferenceswillbeheldon Monday, November 23rd from 4:00-8:00 PM andTuesday, November 24th from 8:00 AM-8:00 PM. Thepurposeof these conferenceswill be to learn how bestwecan help your child learn and partner together in theireducation.Youwillneedtosignupforaconferenceslotforeach of your children. Your teacher will confirm yourappointment time with you. Conferences will only be 15minutes, so please make every effort to be on time. Yourchild is encouraged to attend with you.Your student’steacher will contact you with times available in the nearfuture. Familieswill have a chance to choose a slot of timethatworksbestfortheirfamilyschedules.Thetimesdonotneedtobescheduledbacktobackforyourchildren.Pleaseselecttimesthatworkbestforyoubasedonyouravailability,andwhatisavailablewiththeteachers.Theconferenceswillbe held virtually in your child's Google Meets link in theirGoogle Classroom. LightsofWinterA Gilbert Heights tradition continues this yearwithourannual LightsofWintergift giving.TheLightsofWinterprovides support for families inneed in the form of gifts for children. With anever changing population and many morefamilies in need,weplan to continue the LightsofWinterforasmany familiesaspossible. Ifwehaveanoverwhelmingresponse,wewillneedtorandomlyselectfamilies.
