addition in the family of Mahindra Scorpio in the first quarter of year 2013 for the fans of

Hawk diesel engine that takes out 120 bhp of power and peak torque of 290 Nm. This

engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox, which enables the vehicle to

accelerate easily. However, it also has a low range Borg Warner Transfer Box that can

easily take care of minimum off-roading, while on (AWD) Mode with a shift-on-the-fly

which is fitted for difficult and inhospitable terrains. It has three modes – two-wheel

drive, driving the rear wheels, 4H – four-wheel drive high ratio and 4H – four-wheel

drive low for extreme condition off road. The front-wheels that are radial tubeless tyres

features auto-locking 4×4 hubs, which allow for better fuel efficiency and on an average,

the SLE delivers the mileage of 12 kmpl in the city. The pick up allows this vehicle to

reach 0-100kmph under the time span of 15 seconds.

Raw, robust and impressive are the words for defining the beauty of Scorpio. In

Mahindra Scorpio SLE 4x4, the suspension set up has been changed to torsion bar on

the front side of car. The basic equipments are embedded in this model such as power

window, keyless entry, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), rear wipers with defogger and
