Each chapter is organized by activities that help students to connect, experience, and understand Magruder’s American Government.

Connect—the first subfolder in the chapter folder—contains material that helps students relate to the chapter content. There is also content contained in subfolders.

Lecture Notes are PowerPoint presentations that you can download directly to your computer desktop. You can find them in each section subfolder in the chapter as well as in the Connect and Understand subfolders.

Teacher Resources contains various teaching support materials in PDF and editable format. You can also find additional teacher resources in each section subfolder.

Each section in the chapter has its own subfolder found underneath the Connect subfolder. The “Experience” label helps students identify these sections as the core content in the chapter. We’ll look at some additional resources found in a section subfolder.

The Citizenship Activity Pack: Agents of Change interactivity covers twelve citizenship skills. These lessons help engage students in the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. In this example, students evaluate leadership.
