How Your Score is Determined

• Number of questions you answer• Whether you answer correctly or not• Level of difficulty and other statistical characteristics

• Therefore…• Give yourself enough time to answer every question (severe

penalty for unanswered questions• If a question is too time consuming Or you do not know the answer make an educated guess

Myths about GMAT

• It is more important to respond correctly to the test questions than to finish the test

• Fact – There is a severe penalty for not completing the gmat test

• The first ten questions in each section are critical and hence more time should be devoted to these

• Fact – All questions count and hence pacing is crucial
