Learning about magnets is greatfun. Magnets are used every dayall over the world andincoporated into our daily . Useour fun magnet facts to startlearning how magnets work.
"A magnet is a material or object that produces aninvisible magnetic field which can attract to
ferromagnetic materials"
A magnet in its simplest form, is a material that generates a magnetic field. The magneticfield is produced from the magnets’ goal to find the easiest (shortest) route from the NorthPole to the South Pole, and vise versa. The magnetic field of a magnet can not be seen but isthe reason for the ‘pulling force’ to other magnets and ferrous materials. A larger magnetwill inevitably have a larger magnetic field and will attract objects from further way.

Magnet Facts
Magnets have invisible magneticfields which attract and stickonto steel items
One end of a bar magnet is anorth pole and the opposite
end is the south pole
If you attach a bar magnetto a piece of wood andfloat it in a bowl of water,it will slowly turn and themagnet's North Pole will point towards the Earth's North Pole
If you put a bar magnet under a sheet ofpaper and sprinkle iron powder lightly overthe top, you will suddenly see the invisiblemagnetic field as the particles stick to it
A compass has a tiny bar magnet init and it works in the sameway so that explorers can
find their way
