MAGIS PROJECT COMMITTEE

I. Context of the Group To be "Men-for-others" is one of the goals the class of AJHS A2017 aims to achieve. Our class

hopes to find ways to be able to give aid to those in need through different mediums. We were able to cultivate this mentality through the guidance of Mr. Pagsanghan and Mr. Dela Paz. They told us that A-boys shouldn't only be capable of achieving academic excellence, but they should also make use of those capabilities in helping others. Ever since that, we've tried to find ways to be able to do so. When Mr. Dela Paz invited his former student for a reflection, our class found a brilliant idea. The reflection talked about how they were able to raise money for a scholar through a movie showing. This project was successful and had great impact on the scholar. Based on this, our class hopes to continue this and possibly formulate a trend for succeeding class projects.

II. General Statement of Objectives (for the entire group)

A. To be "Men-for-others" in our own way as A-boys and students of the Ateneo High School.

B. To be able to raise funds to put a scholar through school. C. To contribute and support the scholars or benefactors of the school's CSIP

III. Proposal Proper

A. Name or Type of Activity MAGIS PROJECT: Advanced Film Viewing of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

B. Specific Objectives for the Activity –To be able to raise PHP 200,000 - 500,000 to be able to put a college student through university –To be able to promote the school's cause in CSIP through the Magis Project's marketing.

C. Preparatory Steps 1. WHO- The class of AJHS A2017 will be the main actors of this project 2. WHEN- March 19/20 will be the most likely dates of the showing (depends on

the final offer of the cinema)
