Magic Carpet

Make a 16X16 grid of creases by folding the paper in half, in fourths, eighths and, finally,sixteenths both ways.

Make the indicatedhorizontal mountainand valley creases.

Make diagonallyvalley creases.

Pleat the the modelhorizontally and open

 partially.

Close up of the corner.

Reverse-fold onthe front layer 

Repeat the reverse folds 24 times.Turn over.

Overworked genies will really appreciate this model asit takes much less work to fold than most magic carpets.
