Our Experiential Training Coaches

Tag Hunt

Just when we thought the day’s activities were over, the tag hunt was introduced to us, in which students were divided into groups of eight, and were tasked with finding colored ribbons around the Magic Bus campus. In the backdrop of the pitch-darkness, they found their way using a map and a torch. The aim of the game was to ensure collaboration amongst the team members rather than competition.

themselves lean backwards at 90 degrees and then rappel backwards - which was more fun than they originally anticipated. Rappelling was not just an adventurous activity but a learning experience. With complete motivation from their friends and faith in the experts, this daring sport was greatly enjoyed.

Rappelling

A sense of eagerness and enthusiasm was felt in the air when the students found out they were going to do rappelling. The activity consists of students rappelling down from a 20 feet wall with a strong nylon harness around their waist and thighs to keep them safe.

The students waited their turns and were talked through the procedure and protocol, they flitted between feelings of apprehension and excitement. When at the top of the structure the students had to let

Finding our Groups –

United we stand

The guides were extremely supportive and were happy even if we did not climb the entire face but tried our best. The guide pointed out during a discussion that everyone saw their obstacle in a different way and everyone handled their obstacles in a different way. Moreover, the activity meant different things to everyone, such as conquering fears to one student and completing the task in minimum time to another. However, in common, the activity made all of us expand our horizons.

Rock Climbing

The twenty-five-feet wall that awaited the students seemed frightening at first, but the excitement and the vigor of the students overpowered their initial fear. The activity required the students to have not be afraid of the height they were scaling and go on ahead unafraid. With cheers from the entire group, everyone was motivated to complete the challenge. While not everyone was able to complete the activity, everyone gave in their hundred percent.
