This image is a screen shot form the filming of the advert. It shows a more interesting and questioning shot of the woods where the person was kidnapped. This builds tension to the reader.

This shot is one of the primary shockers. Although this image will be smaller on the magazine cover it shows the relationship between the main female and the boyfriend.

This shot is mysterious, and presents a secretive plot to the reader. This meta-narrative storyline will be shown in one of the corners of the magazine, however, still al are image. This image differs from the filming, as the filming shows different shots and camera angles for the advert.

This is the second part of the primary shocker. This is the bisexual affair. Although the main image will is a posed shot of the two girls in the front and the male in the background, showing female dominance and the affair. This on the front cover of the magazine would draw the audience’s attention in relationship to the uses and gratifications.

This image will be shown on the front of the magazine cover. This shows the meta-narrative of the fire explosion murder. This shot is the same as the filming, as we were not able to film a real fire.

The posed shots are very popular on magazine front covers, giving the audience a general idea of the happenings in the storyline, which characters are dominant, which characters may be in trouble. In our posed shot, the two females will be in the front, the bisexual in casual clothing, with the female next to her in black. The boyfriend behind will have his arms folded in a stern manner also dressed in black. This shows the funeral of the young girl, though also presenting the vulnerable characters and the female dominance of the affair.

Originally our magazine storyboard, before filming was different. The shots were different, although the storylines were the same.

This shot was of the kidnap storyline. The woods in the morning light shows mystery to the reader. A level camera angle screen shot.

This shot is from the filming, having a petrol can as props showing the murder storyline. This is a meta narrative, and would therefore be in the corner of the magazine.

This will be a shot from the filming, showing a level angle of the funeral, characters are not shown; only the backs of guests are seen.

This shot is in darker lighting at a level angle to the building. As this is a subplot of the kidnap storyline, these will be positioned fairly near to each other on the magazine

This shot would be posed of the primary shocker, with the lesbians in front and the male behind. One female and male dressed in black. This shot would be against a white background with a high level angle so the characters are looking up to the viewer.

This would also be a posed shot of the bisexual girl, in a crouch holding pills. This is a subplot from the primary shocker. With the camera angle on a level angle, the reader is set to the same level as the actress, influencing them to identify with the character.
