I start with a picture of my boyfriend in front of a pale wall, holding a whiteboard with a wooden frame.

I lighten and up the contrast on the picture with curves and use the clone tool to remove all detail around him.

I crop the picture to the appropriate size and then I use Brighten and Contrast to bring out a bit more colour. I also remove the lens

flare.

I then add my Masthead and other details; the font was taken from www.dafont.com

I then create and new layer and use the pen tool to draw a picture onto the whiteboard. I stroke the path with creates a clean line.

I then add colour to the picture and remove any colour that is not on the whiteboard.

I then add another smaller picture of to the cover to add depth to a featured article.

I then add the main article, slogo and cover lines.

I then add more featured articles and an advertisement at the bottom.
