• Q magazine is a British music magazine that has been publishing every month since October 1986
• In June 2007 it had a circulation of 130,179• Between January and June 2010 there were 550,000
readers• The magazine was originally going to be called ‘Cue’,
like ‘cueing a record’ but the name was changed so t wouldn’t be mistaken for a snooker magazine
• Q magazine has been the UK’s best selling monthly usic magazine since its launch
What does Q offer?• Reviews and interviews with global artists are what Q
produce the most, not restricting to just UK artists• Q50 – top 50 essential tracks of the month• Cash for questions where the artist answer questions by
readers, and if their question is answered they win money• Although it is a music magazine, it also complies of
radio, television and film reviews• Quite often it give out promotional gifts such as CDs or
posters when the magazine is purchased

known• They tend to stick to a red colour scheme• They cover image tends to have a plain background
