Chamber Membership… “What’s in it for me?” Have you ever heard or maybe even asked that question? If so, I’d like to offer some answers. First, there are a great deal of tangible benefits that come with chamber membership—at no additional cost over the annual membership dues. These include: advertising in chamber publications, on the website, telephone referrals and business card/brochure distribution in the chamber office. For a full list of benefits, visit our website and check out the “Join” section.

Another type of benefit that’s just as important, if not more important, are the intangible benefits of being a cham-ber member - “Strengthening Commerce and Community.” Being a member of your local chamber of commerce helps to strengthen the community where your business is located, where you do business and often where you raise your family. When prospective employers look at areas to relocate, they often look at the chamber of com-merce membership as a gauge of whether a community will support their business with prospective employees, future growth potential, involvement of business leaders in the community, recreation activities and other re-sources that will attract people to the community that will in turn support their business. We are the front door for your business and our community. Don’t wait any longer, make time to join now and start reaping the benefits!
