She was an american artist who was born in Wisconsin in 1921.
She studied painting at the University of Chicago and the artem Students League in New York. Heserved as a teacher in Amarillo, Texas in 1914, and in 1916 in the Sur.No Carolina left the UnitedStates until it was old and why he is considered the first purely American artist. O'Keeffe spentmuch time in Taos, New Mexico and after Stieglitz died in 1946 he was established there until theday of his death at age 98.
