Macrame glass connector bracelet DIY happygirlycrafty.blogspot.gr /2015/05/macrame-glass-connector-bracelet-diy.html I just love macrame bracelets! And what I love more is making them! There is something about tying knots that is so relaxing! If you haven't try it please do! Τhis time I've added some glass connectors in bright colours and they look so classy! Here are my step-by-step instructions for making them with 2 different ways! You'll need approximately 3m of cord and glass connectors. I've chosen 2mm cord but you can use 1mm (but I strongly reccomend at least 1.5mm to make it more durable). You can use macrame cord (do not use wax cord) or any type of cord as long as it can be burned. Cut 2 pieces appr. 20 cm each and 2 pieces appr. 1m each. 1. Take your 1m piece and and tie a knot in the middle. Now you have 2 cords one to the left, one to the right. 2. Take the right cord and slide it under the middle cords and over the left cord.

I just love macrame bracelets! And what I love more is making them! There is something about tyingknots that is so relaxing! If you haven't try it please do! Τhis time I've added some glass connectors inbright colours and they look so classy! Here are my step-by-step instructions for making them with 2different ways!

You'll need approximately 3m of cord and glass connectors. I've chosen 2mm cord but you can use1mm (but I strongly reccomend at least 1.5mm to make it more durable). You can use macrame cord(do not use wax cord) or any type of cord as long as it can be burned. Cut 2 pieces appr. 20 cm eachand 2 pieces appr. 1m each.

1. Take your 1m piece and and tie a knot in the middle. Now you have 2 cords one to the left, one tothe right.2. Take the right cord and slide it under the middle cords and over the left cord.

3. Now take your left cord andslide it over the middle cords andthen under the left cord and tie aknot. Here's what that knot willlook like.

4. Repeat those steps until youmake one side of the bracelet. Τοfinish it off cut the ends and burnthem so they melt and stich inplace. Then make the other side.As you tie the knots a spiral will becreated. This is what it will looklike.

Now on to the second method. Forthis method steps 1,2,3 are thesame as the first one.

The difference is that now youdon't repeat the same step overand over! Instead, after tying thefirst knot, slide the left cord under middle cords andover right cord and right cord over middle cords andunder left cord.

Tie the knot and this is what it will look like with 2knots.

Tie knots on each side alternately until you reachdesired length. Repeat for the other side of thebracelet .Instead of a clasp, make your bracelets adjustableusing one more small piece of cord and the secondmethod. Just bring the 2 ends together and tie theknots on both ends.
