KEY FEATURE – MACKWELL EMERGENCY ENGINE the mackwell emergency engine is a central component for charging, monitoring and testing of mackwell’s Redwood Ready emergency units using an industry standard protocol. the emergency engine is designed to be rack mounted and can be networked over the existing building LAn.
KEY FEATURE - INFRASTRUCTURE Only a single category cable (Cat 5 or above) is required for battery charging, monitoring and testing of the Redwood Ready emergency units. the integration of power and communication over one cable reduces infrastructure complexity in comparison to alternative test systems.
KEY FEATURE - INSTALLATION The installation process is simplified through the use of category 5 cable and RJ45 plug connectors, reducing installation time and cost by negating the need for a qualified electrician. Redwood Ready emergency units are installed in series from the emergency engines to form scalable emergency networks.
KEY FEATURE – MONITORING & TESTING the emergency engine is capable of automatically monitoring and testing the Redwood Ready emergency units to Bs En 62034:2012. the engines intuitive control panel is colour coded to easily identify local area system faults. Centralised software applications allow for the monitoring and testing of multiple networked engines.
