You choose your context and develop an in depth specialist knowledge that will have a bearing on your work. Informed by lectures, seminars and self-directed study. MA Creative Practice Base Room

Ground floor Blenheim Court with access to Blenheim Court computer suite. Open access and teaching area. Students may use this as a work space and a social area - it is not a studio in the traditional sense as you are expected to be establishing your practice externally.

Leeds College of Art International Scholarship

From 2014, international (non UK/EU) students will qualify for a reduction of up to £1,200 off the advertised programme fee for each year of their course if they continue to study at Leeds College of Art: - A student continuing from either the

Leeds College of Art Extended Diploma in Art & Design or Foundation Diploma in Art & Design to a degree course

- A student continuing from a Leeds College of Art degree course to the MA in Creative Practice.

Entry Requirements Applicants must have either at least a second class upper division honours degree of a British University or CNAA; or a degree of a comparable standard from a university or recognised degree awarding body in another country; or a relevant professional qualification at an equivalent level. Candidates holding other academic qualifications may also be considered for admission provided that they have substantial relevant professional experience. Leeds College of Art will accept IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a minimum overall score of 6.5, with no individual component below 6.0, as being the minimum acceptable level for English Language proficiency. Comparable English Language Tests may also be considered and further information is available on the Home Office website.

You must also supply two references to support your application, one should be an academic reference and the other from a creative practitioner. Applicants who meet the entry requirements above will be required to submit a proposal outlining their intentions for MA study. The programme leader and specialist practice-based staff will evaluate the proposal to determine its feasibility in the context of the resources required and the availability of specialist staff to support their chosen area of study.
