SECTION IV. 2015-2016 SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN – ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT/ ONGOING ACTIVITIES

Average class sizes in all grade levels closely monitored

All schedules closely monitored to ensure the efficient and effective use of staff throughout the school day.

Maintain a continuum of services to meet the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of all students, and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of possible options and appropriate steps in decision making.

Implemented a revised model for Response to Intervention (RTI) - “What I Need Now” (WINN) w/ direct connections to Journeys

Professional development opportunities designed to increase collaboration among staff and ensure that curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Specific areas of focus this year included: Journeys Implementation; Standards Based-Report Card; MA Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Frameworks (adopted Jan. 2016)
