DesignDet er lagt vekt på et kompakt design for å spare plass ombord.Ventilhusene er støpt i ett stykke. Ventilsetene er montert i separat, og kantas ut ved behov. Ventilene kan enten være løse eller fast montert tilspindelen.For lensekasser benyttes kun ventiler som ikke er fast montert til spindelen(”non-return”).

Test og brukMaksimum arbeidstrykk er 10 bar. Alle ventilkassene teste/ trykksettes førde leveres. Ventilkassene kan kun benyttes i Klasse III rørsystemer.

Ulstein Ventilkasser er typegodkjent av Det Norske Veritas, sertifikat nr. P-10635.

Fjernstyring av ventilkasserVentilkasser som kan fjernstyres har fått erstattet rattene med pneumatiskeaktuatorer. Disse er montert på hver sin brakett og opereres viamagnetventiler som igjen styres fra lokale betjeningspaneler eller eksternestyresystemer. Endebrytere er påmontert hver aktuator for indikering avåpen og stengt posisjon. Elektriske aktuatorer kan leveres med systemer fraEltorque.

VentilskapMagnetventilene er innmontert i et separat skap, beregnet forskottmontering i nærheten av ventilkassen. Ventilene kan være entenbistabile (2 spoler) eller unistabile (1 spole). Bistabile magnetventiler blirstående i posisjon ved spenningsbortfall, mens unistabile ventiler går tilbaketil utgangsposisjon. Magnetventiler kan leveres for både 24VDC og 230 VAC

Lokal betjeningVendere for operering av magnetventilene samt lysdioder for indikeringåpen/stengt er montert i fronten av et lokal betjeningsskap. Rekkeklemmerfor tilkopling av eksterne styresystemer er inkludert. Lokal-betjeningsskapeter lagret for skottmontering.

Fjernbetjeningspanel med mimikkVentilkassene kan fjernbetjenes fra egne kontrollpanel i kontrollrom eller påbro. Panelene er laget for montering i pult. Beskyttelsesgrad er IP54.Vendere for operering av magnetventilene samt lysdioder for indikeringåpen/stengt er montert. I tillegg kan mimikk-diagram graveres inn i topp-folien på panelene. Start/stopp av pumper samt operasjon av eksterneventiler kan inkluderes i kontrollpanelenes funksjoner.

DesignA compact design is emphasised due to space-saving on-board. The housesare cast in one piece with removable seats. The valves can be of non returntype or valves locked to the spindle.When the chests are used in bilge systems, the non-return valves to beused according to DnV regulations.

Testing and usageMaximum working pressure is 10 bar. All valve manifolds are tested/pressurised before they leave the factory. The chests can only be used forClass III piping systems.

The Ulstein Valve Manifolds are type approved by Det Norske Veritas,certificate no. P-10635.

Scope of supply• All valve manifolds are delivered without bolts and nuts• Counter flanges and gaskets are optional, but delivered upon specification• Blind-/Endflanges are delivered with O-rings• Bottom flanges are delivered with gaskets

Remote controlled valve manifolds have pneumatic actuatorsinstead of hand wheels. Each actuator is mounted on a bracket and isoperated by means of solenoid valves. Micro-switches are mounted on eachactuator for indication of open/ closed position. Electrical actuators can besupplied with systems from Eltorque.

Solenoid valve cabinetThe solenoid valves are assembled in a cabinet for bulkhead mountingnearby the valve manifold. Bistable (2 coils) or unistable (1 coil) solenoidvalves may be used. Bistable solenoid valves remain in position if a blackoutcondition occurs, whereas unistable solenoid valves return to the originalposition. Solenoid valves are available for both 24 VDC and 230 VAC.

Local operationSwitches for operation of solenoid valves and LEDs for indication ofopen/closed position are assembled in front of a local operation cabinet,made for bulkhead mounting.Terminals for connection to external control systems are included.

Remote control panel with mimic diagramThe valve manifolds may be remote controlled from separate control panelsin the engine control room or from the bridge. The control panels are madefor desk mounting. Protection degree is IP54. Switches for operation ofsolenoid valves and LEDs for indication of open/closed position are included.In addition, the mimic diagram can be engraved on the top of the panel.Start/stop of pumps, together with the operation of external solenoid valvescan be included on the control panel.
