1. Product Guide Low Voltage Distribution Kiosk

The NOJA series of Low Voltage Distribution Kiosk’s consists of 2 different enclosure sizes and 5 standard configurations of supplied equipment.

The Low Voltage Kiosk has been designed to be partially buried in ground or wall mounted in the same standard enclosure. Kiosk standard construction is 304 Grade Stainless Steel with powder coat. The exterior design was done with aesthetics in mind and so is suitable for installation in public areas.

The Kiosk’s features a sloping lid to prevent accumulation of debris and moisture. The Enclosures are weather, rodent and bird proof. The doors of the kiosk feature 3 point locking with a vandal proof / pad lockable handle. High positioning of top vents allow for excellent heat dissipation.

Slide out bottom covers allowing ease of cable installation and readily accessible lifting lugs are common across all kiosk design.

This Kiosk can be used for the connection of two network circuits of 400 Amps and a 630 Amp fuse switch for use with a single large customer connection with large consumer mains. To enable this, the kiosk comes complete with bolt on connections on the bus bar for direct connection of customer’s cable.

Kiosk Type 2 can be used for the connection of up to three 160 Amp fuse switches for customer connection and up to 100 amp fuse switch and two network connections direct to the bus bar. The network connections are achieved by bolt on connections on the left and right hand sides of the kiosk.

The type 3 kiosk can be used to connect one network circuit to a 1000 Amp isolator and two 630 Amps fuse switches for customer connections. There are also three spare mounting positions available on this kiosk, one for an additional 1000 Amp network circuit and two more 630 Amp customer connections. Spare space in the panel allows for a service fuse connection.

Kiosk 4 features a Bus-Tie arrangement. This allows for a connection of four 630 Amp isolators with a 1000 Amp isolator mounted midway for use as a Bus-Tie. Having a midway mounted Bus-Tie allows for two 630 Amp network isolators installed on either side of the 1000 Amp Bus-Tie. Spare space in the panel allows for a service fuse connection.

The Type 5 Kiosk has the available space to connect four 630 Amp Isolator network connections and two 160 Amp fuse switches for customer connections. This allows spare space for an additional customer connection, alternator connection or auxiliary services fuse.

Standard Switchgear supplied can be fitted with a range of DIN style fuses from DIN00 100 amp up to DIN3 630 amp to suit a wide range of customer loads.

Connections are made onto flags mounted on the base of the switch. These flags are capable of terminating 2x240 mm square cables.

Kiosk’s can be Base or Wall mounted to suit a range of different installation options. When base mounting 1600mm Stainless Steel rag bolts are used to lessen risk of tipping or pulling over of the kiosk. A template for mounting is supplied.

The option for wall mounting is factory fitted Stainless Steel rails to rear of enclosure.Auxiliary Service Fuses can also be factory fitted for the supply to street lights, etc.
