• Genre of rock, indie rock and metal.• Contain important, up to date news about popular

bands and artists, and also up and coming artists.• Reviews on music items, such as instruments,

equipment and albums.• Interviews with musicians and band members

with an audience Q & A.• Festival and concerts news, such as headlined acts

or date movement and sold out venues.

Why do I think there is a market gap

• Many of the music magazines have become out dated and repetitive, and have seen a decline in readers.

• I have not come across any similar magazines with the house style I have stated.

• My magazine idea is original and has a wide range of music, so it would bring in a large audience.

such as Kerrang and Q.• In 2010 they had a turn over of

2,129 million euros, they would have enough to invest in new magazines.

• They also own several media sources such as radio stations and television channels.

demographic as I stated earlier in the presentation

• They publish similar magazines such as metal hammer and classic rock.

• Own a radio station and the publishers are made of the ideal audience demographic.

Target Audience• Aimed at late teenagers and

middle aged twenty year olds.• Informal people with a range of

education, but possibly a media influenced education.

• Disposable income. Such as students, casual workers, people who work in media and artistic jobs.
