I am an excellent communicator, always punctual and can be relied upon to far exceed normal expectations. My training in sports coaching has given me effective transferable skills such as commitment to team playing, physical endurance, patience and perseverance. My ability to analyse problems with a common-sense approach and good humour, where appropriate, makes me a valuable colleague.
My experiences in working with people have strengthened my belief that sporting activities and education are of huge benefit to a wide cross-section of the population, and I am determined to be part of a progressive programme which can deliver these benefits.

I am a Youth Sport Edinburgh MemberI represented Scotland in the Handover Ceremony for Glasgow 2014 at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India in 2010.I was an Olympic Torch Bearer and in June 2012 I ran my leg through the streets of Edinburgh as part of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Additionally, I was a Game Maker at Hampden Park as part of the event.I was picked as a Baton Bearer in March 2014, and on Saturday 14th June 2014, I ran my leg through the streets of Edinburgh.

I am a Youth Legacy Ambassador for Glasgow 2014 within the city of Edinburgh. This role allowed me to sit on the panel and pick the Queen’s Baton Bearers for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. I also spent 3 days in Shetland at a Young People’s Sport Conference where I assisted on Glasgow 2014 Programmes to support local children plan sports festival.I represented Scotland as Assistant Coach to the 2011 Homeless World Cup Scotland Team who finished 5th in the tournament and were ranked highest placed European Team.I also hold a full driving licence.
