The LSU Flores MBA Program offers training in résumé building, interviewing, and interpersonal skills. Our staff works to develop

a personal plan for each student’s career goals.

Specializations

• Our full-time track offers specializations in numerous areas of business, including internal audit, finance, management consulting, marketing, and human resources.

• LSU’s Center for Internal Auditing is recognized globally as the leader in internal audit education. Faculty and students have won numerous international awards, including the International CIA Student High Achievement Award on the CIA exam 19 of the last 26 years.

Full-Time Track

Curriculum is administered on a semester basis. Students attend Launch Week before they begin the program and work in a professional internship during the summer after their first year of school.

Requirements:•GMAT score of 600 or above or an equivalent GRE score•3.0 undergraduate GPA from a four-year accredited university

Fundamentals:•Earn a traditional MBA in 22 months•No work experience or pre-requisite classes are required•Students are able to use elective credits to specialize in different areas of business. Three electives equal one specialization

Professional TrackCurriculum is administered in 11-week modules, with a short break between each module. Students usually work full-time and attend class on Monday and Tuesday nights.

Requirements:•Three or more years of professional work experience •3.0 undergraduate GPA from a four-year accredited university•GMAT waivers are available

Fundamentals:•Earn a traditional MBA in 22 months•No work experience or pre-requisite classes are required•Students are able to use elective credits to specialize in different areas of business. Three electives equal one specialization

JD/MBA

The JD/MBA dual degree track is designed for students who intend to earn both a Juris Doctor and an MBA concurrently. Degrees are offered through the Paul M. Hebert Law Center and the E. J. Ourso College of Business.

• Students earn 12 hours of credit toward the JD for courses completed in the LSU Flores MBA Program and 18 hours of credit toward the MBA for courses in law school. Both degrees are completed in four years.

Executive TrackCurriculum is administered in 10-week modules, with a short break between each module. Students usually work full-time and attend class every other Friday and Saturday.

Requirements:•Eight or more years of professional work experience •3.0 undergraduate GPA from a four-year accredited university•GMAT waivers are available

Fundamentals:•Earn an MBA in 17 months•A two-week international study trip to China is included in the tuition•Improve management, organization, and leadership skills

Executive TrackCurriculum is administered in seven-week modules where students take one course per module, although students do have the option to take two classes per module. Online students usually work full-time and complete coursework from home on their own schedule.

Requirements:•Three or more years of professional work experience•3.0 undergraduate GPA from a four-year accredited university•GMAT waivers are available

Fundamentals:•Earn an MBA in as little as 18 months•No residency requirement•Students improve on their leadership, management, and critical analysis skills
