that day, the students attended city court.

The YLSS year started with a Saturday retreat at Zaban Park where the studentsfrom eight high schools got to know each other as they tackled high and lowrope challenges. Next up for YLSS is a day of service as the students discover the role thecommunity's nonprofits play in creating a safety net for those in need. They will beworking in eight locations ranging from Mary Hall Freedom House, Dorothy BensonSenior Center to the Community Assistance Center as a prelude to coming togetherfor a joint service project in the spring.
