Our School Mission: Vision Our Vision is to place learning at the core of all that we do. Learning at the International School of Stuttgart combines an individuals predispositions and experiences with the acquisition of skills, knowledge and understanding, to nurture and develop of character and intellect. 4. Literacy in the Lower School - Childrens language develop at different rates at different times.- Objective: To give children the tools that they need, when they need them, in order to move them in their language development. - ISS Language Policy, PYP Language Benchmarks, First Steps (research, developed and published by the Education Department of Western Australia)- We engage children in meaningful and authentic situations through our Units of Inquiry in which children can acquire and use language for authentic purposes 7.
