The LRX FLY SWATTER ROTATOR is intended to be used as an attachment for

telescopic fork lifts. This unit provides two axes of rotation; Pan (left / right) and

Tilt (up / down). This unit is powered by an onboard battery. It is advisable to

charge the unit when not in use. (U-Ground charger plug is located under rear

access door). Note: battery can’t be over charged. Average off charge, power on

standby: 24 hours usable. Recharge time is approximately five hours.

A light weight user designed and supplied truss structure mounts onto the

horizontal output shaft flanges. These flanges are designed to mate with twelve or

sixteen inch box truss trusses with end flanges that have a four bolt mounting

pattern with a bolt circle between 8.65”-10.45 BHC or 14.62"-16.22" BHC and a

bolt diameter of 0.75" or less.

The user constructed assembly provides mounting for a variety of fabric or

lighting options.

MANUAL BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Fly Swatter Rotator weight: 1500 pounds.

Fly Swatter maximum load capacity evenly distributed.

Starter truss guide lines must be followed.

Up to 30’ x 30’ panel screen size = 1,400 lbs. weight of truss structure +

(0.89 PSF) 810 lbs. of wind loading (18.7 MPH / 30KPH)

Wind load formulas:

PSF=MPH2

x .00256

P (Pa) = KPH2

x 0.317

1 MPH = 1.61 KPH

1 KPH = 0.622 MPH

Ensure unit meets all local codes prior to operation.

Truss structure by others; to be approved by a professional engineer to safely

carry anticipated loads.

Fly Swatter, truss structure & wind loading calculations are the responsibility

of the user.

Ensure telehandler is capable of supporting the total load: Fly swatter, truss

structure and the wind load being applied.

Telehandler side loading: Maximum 3% of capacity chart or less if limited by

the telehandler OEM’s specs and instructions.

Load limits never to be exceeded.

Follow all telehandler manufactures guide lines and operating procedures.

It is the user’s responsibility and obligation to determine and comply with all

applicable laws and regulations.

Operator must stay with unit when in operation.

It is recommended to develop a truss recovery procedure with the telehandler

to set a position with minimum sail area.

It is recommended that a means to partially release the fabric be used to

relieve wind pressure on the structure in the event of unexpected wind gusts.
