Decision to start remoteAfter the data update on August 13, 2020 a decision will be made and communicated based on the identified metrics as to how the school year will start on August 24, 2020.

SCHOOL RESTART – MODELING – WHAT WE SEE COMING

If Coloradans do not change their behavior, cases will continue to increase to a peak in September/October. If that occurs, our metrics will cause us to be remote. Starting In-Person may be the only opportunity this year to “see” our kids.

REMOTE LEARNING

Transition to Remote Learning

Whether for a temporary move to remote (e.g. 14 days due to a case) or a long-term movedictated by our decision-making metrics:

● Teachers will have one (1) non-student day to prepare to transition to another model of learning after the decision is communicated.

● Remote learning will be provided by the students’ assigned classroom teacher and will follow their predetermined syllabus and/or grade level content.
