Why you require Mailchimp and Mandrill?

If you have an active subscription to Mailchimp and Mandrill you can link it to LoyaltyMate and use it to send branded emails to your customers who are in your LoyaltyMate database.

Mailchimp - This is where you build the templates required for your emails. Mandrill - This is what is used to send the automatic “Welcome” and “Tier Progression” emails.

You can send branded templates for these emails - Welcome (Confirmation) Email- Tier Level Progress- Vouchers

Setting up Mailchimp and Mandrill in LoyaltyMate

To set up Mailchimp & Mandrill in LoyaltyMate you need to have an API key for both that you can fill in into the Email Setup of LoyaltyMate. 1. Log into your company URL and log in as a company admin2. Go to email setup under Settings drop down3. Check Mailchimp/Mandrill

4. Enter Mailchimp API Key and Mandrill API Key To find these keys refer to page 4 and 55. Once entered press validate6. A message will pop up saying “Email Configurations are validated”7. Click save.

From this screen you can update the templates for Welcome Emails and Tier Progression.

How to get a Mailchimp API Key for LoyaltyMate

Log in to your Mailchimp account. 1. Under account drop down go to Extras > API Keys

2. Select Create A Key. 3. Copy and paste the API Key into LoyaltyMate Email Setup.

How to get a Mandrill API Key for LoyaltyMate

Log in to your Mailchimp account. 1. Under account drop down go to transactional2. If you have Mandrill setup > Launch Mandrill 3. While in Mandrill go to Settings 4. In settings > SMTP & API Credentials

5. Add a new API Key and copy and paste that key into LoyaltyMate Email Setup

Templates/Emails for Vouchers

In Mailchimp create a template you would like to use for your voucher.

Once your email setup for Mailchimp and Mandrill is done you will see in the Voucher Creation page there is now a drop down to select a Mailchimp template.

Set up your voucher with the required fields and select the template from the drop down you wish to use and it is ready for you to click send and select the emails to send it to.

Add these field tags into a template and LoyaltyMate will pull the correct information and populate it into your email for you.
