If you dead head some of them, they will continue to bloom… 4. Seek out and destroy – dandelions, thistle, grass from the lawn, rose bush (gone wild), baby trees that plant themselves, etc… These pictures are common weeds found in the garden

This is pokeberry – these plants have massive roots – so dig deep!

5. Do NOT destroy or remove milkweed of any kind (common or swamp) – milkweed is our friend. Our two types of milkweed look like this:

Notice this almost looks like one of the weeds but the leaves are more narrow. This will be found in the lower part of the garden.
