Our Mission
The mission of KRUU is to give Fairfield a voice and strengthen the community by encouraging creativity, dialogue and community involvement. KRUU is an open, inclusive, diverse forum for music, creative expression, information, and entertainment. It is a non-commercial, non-profit, community-supported low-power radio station with a strong emphasis on locally created and produced programming.

syndicated religious programming or DOT. Broadcast on the FM dial at 100.1 Low power 100 watts Antenna 65 feet high Old Beatbox building at 405 N. 2nd St

First town hall meeting May 11th, 2006 regarding a community media project, group decides to pursue building low power station
Organization, fundraising, renovation and construction starts immediately
Antenna is raised July 4th 2006 Donated tower and installation
Began broadcasting September 30th, 2006 with 24/7 programming
