The breadfruit is a grapefruit-sized high water content tropical fruit, by itself is a low fat, high protein and carbohydrate fruit. It is a source of fatty acids like Omega 3 and Omega 6 which are vital for the proper development of the mind and body.You can have a snack form of the product as an ideal food. The breadfruit is powderized and processed with non-sugar flavours of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, packaged in individual sachets.

Highlight of the key ingredient

According to experts, breadfruit intake reduces harmful cholesterol or LDL in the body and increases HDL cholesterol that is beneficial for health. It is also said that regular consumption of breadfruit helps to lower the risk of developing colon cancer, reduce blood pressure and asthmatic symptoms.Breadfruit is also an ideal food for maintaining healthy eyes, skin and for boosting the body’s resistance to infections and disease.

The breadfruit malt is an innovative product because the idea of powderizing the breadfruit and transforming it to a substance that can be packaged in a sachet so that it can be easily poured in a glass, mixed with water and is ready to drink is a new approach to all the various ways in which breadfruit is being consumed.

Target Customers

The target market for the breadfruit malt is a range of individuals over 50 years old both males and females. The reason for this is that the product will be marketed as a healthy food, and it is true that it is when most people get into their 50s that they start to become more health conscious and are more selective in terms of what they consume. On this basis we believe the product will appeal mostly to this age spectrum of individuals, who may be seeking something nutritious as well as tasteful. Nonetheless, we expect that adults will buy it not only for themselves but for their children as well.
