The UnderDogs

By adopting one of our UnderDogs, you are opening your home and heart to a deserving pet who will enjoy your love and care. They have often been abused, they are old or disabled, too big or the wrong colour, not the prettiest (although in our eyes they are all beautiful) or simply born in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The Love UnderDogs team is small and we all know and love our dogs dearly. We care about their future and do everything in our power to find them the best possible homes.

The journey started with a dog shelter we visited in Romania. Having seen the conditions locally, we had to help… Love UnderDogs was born and we have never looked back since!

In 2012 we started finding homes for these animals whose lives had been nothing but pain and suffering, when all they wanted was love.

Seeing their destiny change and their eyes, previously filled with sadness and despair, suddenly come alive was just magical. What could be more wonderful than to see those faces light up at the thought of life taking a turn for the better?

Great things can be achieved when we all work together towards a common goal, creating more happiness in the world.

We welcome you to join us on this wonderful journey. It is a fabulous privilege to be able to make a difference and we would like to share it with as many as we can.

Love UnderDogs was set up by animal lovers, who wanted to make the world a better place by helping and supporting some of the most unwanted, abused, neglected and voiceless dogs.

What you should know about our UnderDogs:

• Every one of our cats and dogs have been seen by a vet in the UK before being rehomed and treated for anything they require from dental work to surgeries and x-rays for old injuries.

• They are neutered.

• They come fully vaccinated and our International UnderDogs have a European passport.

• They are microchipped.

• They undergo a behaviour and temperament assessment in the UK.

• They all come with backup for life.

• We also offer the support of a trainer/behaviourist post adoption.

• They can be rehomed UK wide providing you can come and meet your new family member in person at the kennels.

By supporting Love UnderDogs you are enabling us to do so much! Thanks to your wonderful support we are able to do the following:

• Give our dogs the medical care that they need before being rehomed.

• Provide a cosy little place for our friends to stay until they find a nice home.

• Rehabilitate traumatised and injured dogs in the UK.

• Support transportation costs.

• Fund vaccination and sterilisation campaigns in Romania.

• Purchase equipment and medical supplies needed by our partners in Romania.

• Employ ‘Welfare Angels’, who specifically care for the most vulnerable individuals at the Romanian shelter such as the puppies or the old, frail or hospitalised dogs.
