(A prince leaned on the door. He turned his head to other direction,

implied that he’s unwilling to show his face. A princess on the other

side looked up to nothingness. Both were buried in silence)

“DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN?”

Sheila and Prince Ryan

Sheila:

Evelyn?

(Knocking: Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock)

Do you wanna build a snowman?

Come on lets go and play

I never see you anymore

Come out the door

It's like you've gone away-

We used to be best buddies

And now we're not

I wish you would tell me why!-

Evelyn:

Sheila:

Okay, bye...

(Knocking)

EVELYN: Sheila, I have no reason to go out.

SHEILA: But you’ve been there for months. The world has

showed some regret right after she finished her sentenced) Evelyn,

EVELYN: That’s all right. See, you got it. There is no point for me

to go out there. No matter how beautiful the world has changed now,

I can’t see a thing. (Sheila was out of response. The two were shut

until Evelyn broke the silence) I wished the accident took my life as

well as my Mom’s and Dad’s.

SHEILA: Hssh you can’t say that. You survived, that tells

something.

EVELYN: The fact that I have to keep going without my mom and

dad? and..my sight? What? That I am now nothing but a living

home-alone that can’t even tell if it’s day or night. I’m living in the

darkness and it’s likely the same with being dead.

SHEILA: Evelyn you go too far. Listen, remember when I was so

broke past few years. When my parents got robbed, frustrated and

ended up telling the truth that I’m not actually their daughter? You

were there. You told me that life is a game that’s full of challenges.

Told me that I was just turning into a more advanced player that I

had to also deal with more and harder challenges. Told me that, yeah,

the harder it got, bigger prize I might get. And you asked me to keep

playing the game, and I did. And I miraculously won. If it’s not

because of you, perhaps I would have got someone buried me alive.


And now, I want you to walk the talk. Because it’s your turn to be

that more advanced player in the game of life.

EVELYN: Sheila. Thanks for not giving up on me. I’ll try.

SHEILA: So..

EVELYN: So I can’t hug you if you stay standing outside. (Sheila

was happy and she came inside Evelyn’s room. The two hugged.)

SHEILA: So this means tonight we’re going.

EVELYN: Going where?

SHEILA: The ball! There is a ball coming up tonight. Prince Aaron

is looking for the right girl to be his princess!

EVELYN: Prince Aaron? I thought he’s out of town. He’s not seen

for so long.

SHEILA: I know right. That’s what excites me the most. I’m so not

expecting to be chosen but c’mon! It’s still a ball anyway. It’s gonna

be fun! Most importantly, we are all invited.

EVELYN: But I haven’t got the invitation.

SHEILA: It’s on Instagram dear. Prince Ryan, his brother, posted

the invitation and the caption stated that we are all invited. Eco

friendly kingdom, remember? No such printed invitation.

EVELYN: Ah, okay.

SHEILA: It’s getting late. Let’s prepare everything, especially your

dress, before I leave!

EVELYN: Nah, I’m good. You go. I’ll manage to do it by myself.

SHEILA: You sure?

EVELYN: You’ll be amazed.

SHEILA: Ok I’ll come back tomorrow morning. Evelyn, I’m glad

you’re back.

EVELYN: I wish I do too. (Sheila left. Evelyn started to find her

dress in the drawer. She fell so hard. She hurt her own ankle. She

cried)

(A mysterious woman appeared as she hummed)

EVELYN & PRINCE AARON: Who are you?!

MYSTERIOUS WOMAN: Don’t ask. Save the gasp for later. You

(to Evelyn) you lost almost everything. You’ve been suffering a lot

and your tears of sorrow have brought me here. I’ll give you a day

of having back your sight to normal. See the world. Go to the ball. //

You (to Prince Aaron) don’t be ashamed of how you looked now.

Your people used to love you not merely because of how you looked.

It’s because you were a good future leader for them. Don’t let a

curse from that brokenhearted wicked woman toward you keep you

away from who you’re meant to be. So don’t even think of canceling

the ball. Here I give you your true form only for a day.

and the miracle’s gone?

Evelyn went first and dropped her phone, Prince Aaron tried to

avoid but he also started to lose the miracle. Prince Ryan noticed

the re-transformation he passed the mask to Prince Aaron. Everyone

looked surprised and scared with what Prince Aaron turned out to

be, leaving only him, Prince Ryan, and Sheila)

SHEILA: Where is she? What happened??

PRINCE AARON: I don’t know. She just left after… oh, would

that be possible...

SHEILA: The miracle?

PRINCE AARON: Ya, she had that too?!

SHEILA: Ya. She was actually blind because of an accident that

occurred to her and her parents. This morning I found her able to see

thing however she told me that it would last only until 12 a.m.

Which is now…Wait, how do you know?

PRINCE RYAN: He had one too. Look, He… He was cursed by a

princess from another kingdom because she thought he loved her.

PRINCE AARON: Well in fact, I didn’t.

PRINCE RYAN: So she cursed him to have.. this look. And early

in the morning I also saw him get his look back. And he also said

that it would only last until 12 a.m. Right? (Prince Aaron nodded)

PRINCE AARON: Ah! I know! I think she’s the one!

PRINCE RYAN: The one..?

PRINCE AARON: The mysterious woman, (Prince Ryan and

Sheila looked confused) the…woman in hood…that.. granted me


these miracles... well, she reminded me that my true love would love

me no matter how I look. Well I think it’s Evelyn because she’s

blind. So she won’t happen to see me again in my real look anyway.

And now I…lost her.

SHEILA: I have her number. We can try-

PRINCE AARON: Can’t. She dropped it.

SHEILA: Oh no…it’s my fault I shouldn’t have brought her here..

It’s dangerous to be outside all alone for her… (Prince Ryan tried to

calm Sheila down)

PRINCE AARON: No, we’ll find her. I promise you. We’ll find

your friend. We’ll find her. (to Sheila) What’s your name again?

SHEILA: Sheila.

PRINCE AARON: Do you have her picture, Sheila? (Sheila

nodded) Please send it to Prince Ryan. (to Prince Ryan) Brother,

please post her picture on our Instagram and Twitter and ask the

people if they see her. Shall they see her, able to track her down, ask

them to contact us soon and we’ll have big prize for them.

PRINCE RYAN: Aye, brother. (Prince Ryan asked Sheila to start

finding Evelyn. The two left Prince Aaron alone.)

(Evelyn struggled so hard to sustain her steps. She sobbed and ran

out of tears. She kelp walking)

(It was around 3 in the morning. Prince Aaron, Prince Ryan, Sheila

were still in the castle’s garden waiting for the news if anyone had

happened to spot Evelyn’s presence)

PRINCE RYAN: Guys, look! A shooting star!!! (Prince Aaron and

Sheila didn’t react as he expected) Yeay? Well. You know they say

a shooting star is a perfect moment to whisper your wish while you

close your eyes.. so.. (he closed his eyes and started to whisper) dear

shooting star, we don’t know if you are in mission of granting

everyone’s wishes as you hit the ground, yet let us also wish

something. We just want you to keep an eye on Evelyn till we track

her down and bring her home. Amen . (he sneaked an eye and the

two still didn’t pay any attention. They were too busy with their

anxieties) Guys, c’mon…cheer yourself up a bit. (said Ryan

desperately trying to cheer the two)

(Prince Aaron looked a bit exhausted from walking, he took a

printed photograph of Evelyn out, stared and launched a smile at it.

He spotted a small lighted-off bonfire. He was about to approach it

but he stopped as he heard sounds like foot stepped on a branch.)

PRINCE AARON: Helo…? Anyone?! Any….thing..

(Two prince-like figures of men showed themselves before Prince

Aaron. They didn’t seem harmful but Prince Aaron wouldn’t want to

take a risk, he drew his sword as he snapped “Who are you?!”. They

spontaneously did the same moves but nothing happened then they

realized they’ve got no swords with them. These men didn’t stand a

chance.)

LOST PRINCE 1: Ah, I see, another Prince.

LOST PRINCE 2: Aye. Another Prince looking for his lover.

PRINCE AARON: How do you know?! Who are you, mind

readers?!

LOST PRINCE 1: C’mon.. You are holding a picture of your lover,

silly.

PRINCE AARON: (he turned red) Ah. Sorry. Still, who are you?

What are you doing here?

LOST PRINCE 2: Just like you, I am looking for my lover here in

the deep jungle. So is he.

LOST PRINCE 1: Yeah practically the same.

(A beautiful girl was staring at nothingness when she started to

EVELYN: Excuse me? Wait, you are another girl. Who are you?

You can’t say that, it’s rude. She sang really well.

LOST PRINCESS 2: She did. But I’m bored.

EVELYN: (She inhaled and exhaled before answering to the

question). It’s forest. And I’m blind. I somehow felt like this is

where I belong. The deeper I get, the less vision I need since it will

only depend on how my instinct goes. Yeah, here I may find peace.

Aside from all that, I wanna be found…

LOST PRINCESS 2: Ha. Good luck with that. We can no more

remember how long have we been waiting. We are the living proof

that waiting is the hardest part. We start to believe that true love

doesn’t exist. Go. Find your way home. Before you reach the point

that you’re fed with the waiting but you can’t go because you keep
